The Florida Department of Health in Marion County (DOH-Marion) offers tuberculin skin tests (TST or PPD) at our Ocala Facility. The test costs $15. Department staff administer TST/PPD for work or school on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
DOH-Marion requires appointments for all TST/PPD.
You must return within 48 to 72 hours after the test is administered in order to complete it. The clinic cannot perform tests on Thursdays because the staff needs to review the results within this timeframe. DOH-Marion staff can read and certify tuberculosis test results that we administer.
DOH-Marion staff cannot complete physical exam forms or documentation that a client is free from communicable diseases.
