The Department of Health in Marion County offers tuberculosis tests at our main office, 1801 SE 32nd Ave., Ocala. The test costs $15. Department staff administer TB tests for work or school on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Beginning March 6 and continuing thereafter, DOH-Marion is requiring appointments for all tuberculosis tests. Appointments can be made by calling 352-629-0137.

You must return within 48 to 72 hours after the test is administered in order to complete it. The clinic cannot perform tests on Thursdays because the staff needs to review the results within this timeframe. Only DOH-Marion Immunizations and Epidemiology staff can read and certify tuberculosis test results.

Please note: DOH-Marion staff cannot complete physical exam forms or documentation that a client is free from communicable diseases.
