Infectious Disease Services

Infectious disease control programs are designed to protect the residents and visitors of Marion County. The Florida Department of Health in Marion County manages surveillance of reportable communicable diseases. These include enteric diseases, vaccine-preventable diseases, invasive bacterial diseases, arthropod-borne diseases, and others.
