The Florida Department of Health in Marion County (DOH-Marion) continually evaluates the health of county residents by measuring local data. That data helps describe the overall health of our community.
DOH-Marion and AdventHealth Ocala collaborated with local partner agencies to produce the 2025 Marion County Community Health Needs Assessment. The assessment is a comprehensive process that identifies the health needs and challenges to accessing care in a community. A new assessment is produced every three years.
Florida CHARTS
Florida’s Community Health Assessment Resource Tool (CHARTS) is a one-stop website for public health statistics and community health data in Florida. It provides access to a wide range of information, including health statistics like births, deaths, disease rates, population data, and behavioral risk factors
