DOH-Marion Hosts Back to School Bash at E. D. Croskey Recreation Center on July 18

Marion County, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Marion County (DOH-Marion) invites parents and students to attend the Back to School Bash on Saturday, July 18, 2026.
The event will be held from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. at:
E. D. Croskey Recreation Center
1510 NW 4th St.
Ocala, FL 34475
DOH-Marion is partnering with Who We Play For to offer optional electrocardiogram screenings (ECGs) to K-12 students at the Back to School Bash. ECGs are $20 and financial assistance will be available to families that qualify. Pre-registration is required. The Back to School Bash will offer no-cost services, including school readiness checks and services by DOH-Marion, physicals provided by the Estella Byrd Whiteman Community Health Center, bike helmet fittings and giveaways, and more. Please bring identification and your student’s health and medical records.
