OCALA—State Surgeon General and Secretary of Health Dr. John H. Armstrong presents the Healthy Weight Community Champion Award to Commissioner Earl Arnett of the Marion County Board of County Commissioners. Dr. Armstrong kicked off National Public Health Week Monday at the Florida Department of Health in Marion County, speaking to community leaders about the status of health in Florida and health initiatives, as well as presenting the award to the county. This is the second year that Marion County has won the award.
