OCALA, Fla.—Marion County is reporting 9,217 cumulative cases of COVID-19 as of this afternoon. This is an increase of 52 cases since yesterday (Sept. 14). Of Marion COVID-19 tests from Sept. 14, 4.75% were positive; the county’s cumulative positive test rate is 13.51%. The daily positivity rate for all new COVID-19 tests in Florida on Sept. 14 was 4.22%; the state’s cumulative positive rate is 13.44%.

From cases reported Sept. 9 to Sept. 15 (7-day rolling average), Marion saw:

• Number of new cases per day: 48
• Number of COVID-19 related deaths per day: 4
• Daily positivity rate: 6.3%
