Ocala resident passes away from COVID-19

OCALA, Fla.—A 60-year-old female from Marion County passed away this week after contracting COVID-19. She was an Ocala resident and had underlying health conditions. This is the fourth death related to COVID-19 in Marion County.
“We are saddened to share that a member of our community has passed away,” said Florida Department of Health in Marion County Administrator Mark Lander. “Our deepest condolences go out to her family and loved ones.”
