DOH-Marion Hosts National Breastfeeding Month Event

Ocala, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Marion County (DOH-Marion) invites the public to attend the National Breastfeeding Month event on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. – noon at:

Southeastern Livestock Pavilion

2232 NE Jacksonville Road

Ocala, FL 34470

This event will feature activities and information presented by several community partners that support breastfeeding families in Marion County. Attendees will receive information about breastfeeding, health education for newborns, and resources available from community partners. The event will also feature activities for children, door-prize drawings, and more.

No preregistration is required.
