DOH-Marion Hosts Community Wellness Fair in Ocala

Ocala, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Marion County (DOH-Marion) is inviting the public to the “Family Fun Wellness Fair” to promote our community’s health and wellness during Minority Health Month.
The event is free and will include resources and activities for adults and children provided by DOH-Marion and our community partners. The event happens on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the Mary Sue Rich Community Center located at:
1821 NW 21st Ave.
Ocala, FL 34475
DOH-Marion staff from the following programs will attend the fair:
- Family Planning
- Healthy Start
- Injury Prevention
- STI
DOH-Marion community partners will offer free information and resources that include health screenings, point-of-care ultrasound, addiction prevention and treatment, mental wellness, primary health care, health insurance, and career counseling including vocational trades.
The fair will also feature music, food, and activities for youth.
