OCALA, Fla.—Individuals who are 12-years-old or older are now eligible to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. Florida Department of Health in Marion County vaccination sites will be able to vaccinate anyone in this newly eligible age group starting today.

Walk-up (no appointment needed) vaccinations are being provided at the Paddock Mall (3100 SW College Road, Ocala) on the following dates this month:

  • Thursday, May 13 from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Monday, May 17 from 3 to 6 p.m.
  • Thursday, May 20 from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Monday, May 24 from 3 to 6 p.m.

Vaccinations will be provided first come, first served. Minors under age 18 will need to bring a parent or guardian with them to their vaccination. Entrance to the vaccination site is at the mall entrance closest to the Belk department store. Individuals can also register online for an appointment at Marion.FloridaHealth.gov (or directly at www.tinyurl.com/MarionCOVIDvax)

Due to the last day of operation at the mall being Thursday, May 27, individuals who receive their first dose of Pfizer vaccine at the mall site on May 10 or later will need to get their second dose of vaccine at the Department of Health in Marion County’s main office (1801 SE 32nd Ave., Ocala).
