The Florida Department of Health in Marion County will be providing COVID-19 vaccinations at its main office in Ocala (located at 1801 SE 32nd Ave.) in August.
Walk-in vaccinations will be provided on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Call 352-644-2590 during business hours Monday through Friday for information.
Both Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines are available. Anyone age 12 years old or older can receive a Pfizer vaccine. Anyone age 18 years old or older can receive the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. A parent or guardian must accompany individuals younger than 18 years old who will be receiving a vaccination.
