The Florida Department of Health in Marion County is offering a free six-week series of classes to help residents learn how to successfully manage their chronic health diseases. During the class, participants will discuss topics such as medication, physical activities, problem solving, healthy eating, weight management, and preventing complications.
Classes will be held June 12, June 19, June 26, July 3, July 10 and July 17 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Senior Wellness Community Center (9850 SW 84th Court, Suite 500, Ocala, Fla. 34481).
